Dynamic QR Code Generator

A static QR code stores the destination URL directly in its pattern. After printing, that pattern cannot be edited and QRtracer does not receive its scans. A dynamic code stores a shorter QRtracer redirect URL. QRtracer records the redirect request and forwards it to the destination saved in your account, which you can update without replacing the printed image. The redirect requires internet access and service availability.

Before printing, save the code and test its destination. If a campaign page later changes, open the saved code in your dashboard and replace its destination URL. The printed pattern stays the same. Scan it again after every change, and keep the destination page available. This workflow is useful for seasonal promotions, migrated pages, and replaced PDF files.

A dynamic code records opens of its redirect URL. The dashboard shows counts, unique-scan estimates, timing, approximate locations and device information while Analytics access is available. Compare codes assigned to different placements over the same date range. To measure a purchase or completed form, check the destination system; scan totals alone do not establish return on investment.
