SMS QR Code Generator

1. Enter a number that can receive SMS, including the country code.
2. Write the message you want to offer, such as “Please call me about a repair”.
3. Download the PNG. Scan a printed proof and check that both the number and message reach the messaging app.

The person scanning chooses whether to send. Normal messaging charges may apply. This generator uses the SMSTO format; camera and messaging apps handle it differently, so test on the phones your audience uses.

A short, complete request works well on a service card: “Please send me your opening hours” or “I would like a callback about my order”. If you need an order number, make that clear beside the code so the customer knows what to add.

Print the destination number and a short instruction such as “Scan to text us”. Use a number you monitor. A keyword such as JOIN only triggers a reply or subscription if you have a separate SMS service configured to handle it; this generator does not provide that automation.

Try the phone’s built-in camera and check which messaging app opens. Some combinations read the recipient but do not carry over the draft. Keep the number and a short version of the message visible beside the code as a fallback.

If the number or wording changes, update the fields and download a new QR code. The direct SMS code does not let you change printed copies or report message delivery.

Link a dynamic QR code to a contact page with your messaging options. Save a separate code for each flyer, poster or label, then compare their scans in QRtracer. You can update the destination without changing the printed pattern.

Check replies in your messaging service to see which enquiries arrived. Scan totals tell you that people opened the link, not that they sent a text.
