Create a QR Code for Your Business Card

Use a public profile, portfolio or booking page that works on a phone. Open it while signed out before copying the link. A private profile or editor preview may work for you but stop someone else.

QRtracer creates the code and manages its saved destination. It does not build or host a digital business-card page. Add a label such as “View my portfolio” and keep a readable contact method on the card.

Paste your link into the generator above. Choose Save & track scans, save it in your account, then download the saved code for your card layout. A separate code per event or design lets you compare their scan activity.

For a free direct-link PNG without an account, choose Download without tracking. That download contains the original URL; you cannot later add QRtracer tracking to the same printed pattern.

If your phone number changes, edit the contact details on the linked profile at its provider. The QR code needs no change while that page keeps the same address. If you move to a different profile, change the saved destination in QRtracer and test an existing card.

Changing a destination does not update contacts people have already saved on their phones. Scan reports also do not show whether someone saved your details, booked a call or became a customer.

Leave a blank border at least four small QR squares wide on every side, following DENSO WAVE’s guidance. Keep text, crop marks and decorative artwork outside it.

Test the actual card size and finish with several phones. A single minimum width cannot guarantee scanning: code density, print quality and glare matter. Keep the pattern dark against a light background. Paid plans include SVG export; PNG should not be stretched beyond a usable resolution.

Our separate vCard QR generator encodes name, phone and email in the pattern. Reading that data does not need a website, but the recipient’s scanner determines how it is imported. You cannot edit the printed data or record its scans through QRtracer. Choose the profile-link code above when changing the destination or measuring scans matters.
