QR Code for Donations & Nonprofit Fundraising

A donation QR code can reduce the need to type a long web address from a pledge card, gala poster, or collection box. It opens the HTTP or HTTPS destination encoded in the code.

Use a donation page from the processor or fundraising system your organization has selected, and test the entire payment flow on mobile before printing. QRtracer creates the QR link; it does not process or confirm the donation transaction.

Separate dynamic QR codes and distinct UTM-tagged destinations can help distinguish opens from direct mail, event programs, race bibs, or outdoor ads. After changing payment processors or campaign pages, test the redirect and the full donation flow. Existing codes keep redirecting and recording scans after cancellation.
