Give an audience a scannable route from your presentation to the deck, handout, sources, or follow-up page.
QRtracer links to the URL you provide; it does not host or convert the slide deck. Publish the deck, handout, source list, or event resource page first and check its sharing permissions. Use a viewer-facing URL rather than an editor link. Add the QR code artwork before exporting a PDF, video, or conference upload so every distributed version contains the same tested code. A resource page is useful when you expect the deck file or links to change later.
For a workshop, the opening slide might link to the live handout while the closing slide uses a separate code for follow-up resources. Separate codes preserve the context of each scan.
Private drives, organization-only permissions, and presenter preview links often fail for an audience. Test in an incognito browser and on the venue network when possible. If the resource moves on the morning of the event, update a saved dynamic code and retest it without editing the slide file. A static code cannot be redirected through QRtracer after export. Keep a short URL on the slide as a fallback for camera glare or people who cannot scan.
Scan counts can compare interest in different slides or sessions, but they do not prove that someone read the deck, downloaded a handout, or became a lead. Use the destination service for downloads, form completions, or other downstream actions. Free includes up to 3 dynamic codes and 14 days of Analytics and QR Studio access. Paid plans include ongoing access, SVG export for clean scaling in slide layouts, and CSV export for scan reporting. Label demo or internal test scans when reviewing results.
Share your documents instantly. Turn your Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides link into a clean QR code so your team or students can open it with a single scan.
Link printed guides, classroom signs, event materials, or certificates to the course page you already publish.
Keep attendees on schedule with dynamic event QR codes. Update agenda links, speaker slides, and venue maps on the fly without reprinting badges.
