Google Maps QR Code for Your Location

1. Open Google Maps and search for your business or drop a pin on the exact spot.
2. Tap Share (on a computer: the share icon in the place panel).
3. Choose Copy link. You get a short link that starts with maps.app.goo.gl.
4. Paste it into the generator above and download the code.
5. Scan the printed code with your own phone and check that the pin lands on the right entrance.

For large sites (hospitals, campuses, business parks, festivals) the business listing often points to the middle of the building. Drop a pin on the door, gate or car park people should actually go to, and share that pin instead. For events, make one code per entrance and label each on the sign.

• Invitations and tickets: weddings, parties and events at a venue guests don't know.
• Flyers and posters: a pop-up shop, market stall or temporary location.
• Parking and signage: direct drivers to the right car park or delivery entrance.
• Business cards and brochures: for offices that are hard to find.
• Holiday rentals: the nearest supermarket, beach or pharmacy in the welcome folder.

A pop-up that moves, an event that changes venue, or a delivery entrance that shifts during building works: with a static code you'd reprint. With a dynamic QR code you change the map link in your dashboard and the printed code follows. You also see how many people scanned each sign, which tells you which placement people actually used.

A Google Maps link opens in the Google Maps app if it's installed, and in the browser otherwise, so it works for iPhone users too. If most of your visitors use iPhones and you'd prefer Apple Maps, share an Apple Maps link instead; the QR code works the same way.
